Andrea Chatten
Andrea has lived in Sheffield since attending University here in 1989. She is married, with two teenage children, and their dog, Wilf.
She began her career as a teacher working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, but is now pioneering a new model of psychology that supports children’s emotional well-being, as Lead Emotional & Behavioural Psychologist at Unravel. This year she also became the BBC’s turn-to practitioner should issues in this area arise in the news.

There are currently 6 novels in the series, Worry, Anger, Self-esteem, Sad, Shy and Love which discreetly apply lots of psychological theory throughout the stories, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Developmental and Positive Psychology approaches. There are also a further 6 manuals that support each novel and help parents carers and professionals have a greater understanding of how to guide their child’s emotional well-being with more confidence.
