Janet Chelliah

Dr Janet Chelliah is a Sheffield GP with over 30 years experience in the NHS.

Janet also works with 2 Cancer Charities on their advisory panel and as a contributor to an editorial board. Her lived experience is also shared with various health professionals in training.

Raising awareness about disability and cancer in children and young people through her lived experience is so important to Janet.

Janet’s first published book, Our Family’s Journey Through Disability and Cancer, is a personal story about supporting and caring for her daughter as she was treated for leukaemia.

Janet’s book is used by various health professionals to educate those in training.
